Eagles Girls advance to NorWOSSA hockey final series

Dryden Eagle Cali Lappage tries to find a weakness in the armor of St. Thomas Aquinas goaltender Sarah From during last Friday’s 3-0 loss on home ice. The Eagles managed to capture the semi-final series, Sunday in Kenora with a 4-1 win on the strength of two goals apiece from Lappage and Maddie MacDonald. They advance to a classic NorWOSSA final series versus The Fort Frances Muskies which begins Wednesday in Fort. Game 2 is set for Friday, 6:30 p.m. in Dryden.  Photo by Chris Marchand
