As part of their social studies unit, the Grade 6 classes at Open Roads School invited Eagle Lake Elder Roy Napish to share his residential school experience with them. This is part of the truth (sharing experiences) and reconciliation (learn how to make up for past mistakes and how to make sure we don’t make them again in the future) process.
