Mary Josephine Saskoley (February 21, 1923 – September 22, 2017)

In loving memory of Mary Jo Saskoley, who passed away in Toronto on Friday September 22, 2017 at the age of 94 with family by her side.

Mary Jo was born in Toronto, Ontario on February 21, 1923 to William (Percival) and Constance Dale. She was the oldest of four siblings.

Mary Jo came to Dryden in the 1940’s as a young nursing graduate from the Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing where she soon met the love of her life, Bill Saskoley (“Sa”). Mary Jo gave up her nursing career to focus on family. Mary Jo and Sa retired to Mississauga Ontario in 1987.

 Mary Jo was predeceased by her parents, brother Bill Dale, sisters Donna Jane Graham and Anne Ford, husband Bill (“Sa”), and daughter Beverly. She will be sadly missed by daughter Joanne Twist (John), son Will (Jan), son Mark (Tommy), grandchildren Jennifer, Jeff, Allison, Erin and Shayne, and great-grandchildren Leyton, Holden, Wilson and Andrew.

There was no Visitation as cremation has taken place.

As per Mary Jo’s wishes there will be no Service.

Interment of ashes will be at a later date.

If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Canada
