Tucked away at 31 King St. you will find a welcoming little art studio run by Angela Roussin.  Ange, as she prefers to be called, shares her talent and space with anyone interested in art and by offering painting classes for adults and youth (age 6-18), she is able to pair her love of art with her passion for teaching.  Also a part-time teacher, she says it has been her dream to combine the two as she moves forward in her career.  “My goal is to inspire people with my artwork and help people find their own pathways in art.”

Always trying to improve her own skills Ange recently returned from a Masterhand Sign’s glass guilding workshop in Unity, Saskatchewan and says it was an inspiring experience.  “I learned how to texture glass with various techniques and how to apply old leaf to glass.  Using these techniques I hope to build my skills and develop my own style of painted and decorated glass artwork.”

Intending to attend many more art workshops in the future Ange encourages everyone to do the same.  “It’s a great opportunity to build yourself as an artist and make connections with artists in the field.”

If you would like to build your art connections contact Ange to book your private lesson or painting party for children or adults., or call 220-2047.

Pull up a chair and express yourself.
