If tears could build a stairway and thoughts a memory lane

I’d walk right up to heaven

and bring you home again

No Farewell words were spoken

No time to say good-bye

You were gone before I knew it

And only God knows why.

My heart’s still active in sadness

And secret tears still flow

What it meant to lose you

No one can ever know.

But now I know you want us

To mourn for you no more

To remember all the happy times

Life still has much in store.

Since you’ll never be forgotten

A hallowed place within my heart

Dunham thankful for support

Words cannot describe how thankful we were for the help of Bob Stevens and all the staff at Stevens Funeral Home. Without your professionalism, compassion, unending patience and outstanding service, we would never had made it through.

To the paramedics, Mike, Evan and Steph, thank you for your dedication to your job and doing it so well.

To the Dryden OPP, Treaty 3 Police and the staff at DRHC on duty that day, you made the situation as best it could be. Karen Shoguchi, your compassion with my family in the hospital was outstanding and we will be forever grateful.

To my brothers, Rob and Brent, for staying by our side and being our rock.

To Keith McEwan, thank you for doing everything you could, even when you felt like you weren’t doing anything. Your support was outstanding.

Special thanks to our family and friends who brought food, flowers, cards, support and love.

To everyone who made donations in Tristen’s honour, your generosity will help many local youth live a better life.

To Ryan Graham and the music students for your support and assistance at the service.

To the students and staff at DHS and New Prospect, thanks for helping us get through this.

Most of all, to our close friends and family, for supporting us, helping us, and simply being there for us.

The laughs and talks we shared together

You left too fast

To that horrible day

The day that my friend, my father passed away
