Richard Euler – November 5, 1931 – March 21, 2018

In loving memory of Richard Euler, aged 86 years, who passed away, with his family by his side, at the Dryden Regional Health Centre on March 21, 2018.

Richard was born November 5, 1931 in Waldhof, the third of four children born to Wolfgang and Arnolda Euler.

Following his education in Waldhof and Dryden, and his youth spent working at the family tourist camp, Richard worked for the CPR before settling in Dryden where he and his brother established and operated Euler Motors for many years.

Richard enjoyed fishing, reading, watching sports on TV and spending time at the Go- Getters.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Lynne Euler, his children, Allyson and Jeffrey (Lisa), and his grandsons Cameron and Travis.  He is also survived by his brother Gordon and many nieces and nephews.  Richard was pre-deceased by his parents, his brother Martin and his sister Anne.

Cremation has taken place and a private ceremony to celebrate the life of Richard Euler will be held at a later date.

Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Dryden Go-Getters or the Second Chance Pet Network through the Stevens Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 412, Dryden, Ontario P8N 2Z1. Condolences may be posted at

  1. I have missed Richard ever since I moved to Thunder Bay in 1970. I always really looked forward to visiting with him and Martin and the gang at the garage every time I came back to Dryden or was driving through to Winnipeg.
The last time I saw him, Sept. 2015, I stopped at his house on the way back from Winnipeg with my “new” 58 Parisienne, I think he enjoyed seeing that blast from his past
He was a great guy and I learned much of what I know about cars from him My sincere condolences to his family.
