The Dryden GM Ice Dogs played their final home games of the regular season last week and they went hard playing four games in five days.

On Wednesday they hosted the Minnesota Iron Rangers at the Memorial Arena. A busy first period saw Ice Dog goals from Woody Galbraith, Cory Dennis, Eric Stout and Jacen Bracko. Joel Nagy managed to also score in the first to get the Iron Rangers on the board.

A hard fought second period saw one power play goal for Mihali See for Minnesota.

In the third period Kris Hamlin got the lone goal of the frame to secure a 5-2 win.

On Thursday the two teams faced again for their final match up of the season and Dryden GM gave them a game to remember them by.

Hamlin struck twice in the first period and Bracko got his first of the night with less than a minute to go in the opening frame.

Less than a minute into the second period Bracko scored again.

Carson Lux got his fourth of the season and Evan Walls got his twenty fourth.

Just over halfway through the middle frame Bracko completed his hat trick. The second period continued to be an Ice Dogs domination with a goal from Ted Davis on the power play. From there four more goals came from Galbraith, Bracko, Davis and Malcolm Huemmert.

In the third Bracko got his fifth of the evening and Garrett Wojcicki scored for Minnesota before Connor Mowatt closed out the scoring.

The Ice Dogs defeated the Iron Rangers 14-1.

On Saturday the Ice Dogs hosted the Thunder Bay North Stars and the shooting stars got off to an early lead with three goals in the first period from Bradley Thrower, Keighan Gerrie and Ryan Miganult.

In the second the North Stars added three more goals before Hamlin found the back of the net.

Ted David got the first goal of the third period but it wasn’t enough to stop the Stars who scored again on a power play to take the 7-2 win over Dryden GM.

Finally on Sunday the Dogs hosted their final home game of the season against the Thief River Falls Norskies.

Parker Simonson got the lone goal of the first period for the Norskies on a power play.

A busy second period saw Simonson get another tally before Hamlin scored on the power play. Davis continued to find the back of the net and Tristan Knott got his first goal after being away with an injury.

Bracko got his forty-seventh goal of the season before Blair Lindholm scored for Thief River.

The 4-3 score would be the final result with no goals in the third period to earn a win for the Ice Dogs.

The Dogs are touring Ontario for their final two games of the regular season against Ear Falls and Fort Frances.
