NorWOSSA championship battles on Friday at DHS

The Dryden Eagles’ Thomas Moline (13) gets in the face of a Fort Frances Muskies aggressor during the Senior boys team’s 89-74 home court win, last week. As NorWOSSA championship hosts, the Eagles head into Friday night’s big game atop the regular season standings.
Spectators can catch the Friday championship game at 7:15 p.m. in the Dryden High School gymnasium. The Eagle will play the victor of an afternoon game between Fort Frances and Kenora.

Other games of note include:
— 10 a.m. Jr. Girls Volleyball Semi-Final — Dryden vs. Kenora in the small gym;

— 10 a.m. Jr. Boys Basketball Semi-Final— Dryden vs. Kenora in the big gym;
—11:30 a.m.Sr. Girls Volleyball Semi-Final—Dryden vs. Kenora in the small gym

—11:30 a.m. Sr. Boys Basketball Semi-Final— Fort Frances vs. Kenora in the big gym;

— 2 p.m. Jr. Boys Basketball Final — Fort Frances vs. AM winner in the big gym;

—3:45 p.m. Jr. Girls Volleyball Final — Fort Frances vs. AM winner in the big gym;

—5:30 p.m. Sr. Girls Volleyball Final — Fort Frances vs AM Winner in big gym;

—7:15 Sr. Boys Basketball Final — Dryden vs. AM Winner in the big gym.

Senior Eagles volleyball team lost the the Muskies in three sets last week.
