Jean Michalchuk – March 24, 1936 – January 29, 2018

In loving memory of Jean Michalchuk, age 81, who passed away in Princess Court Long-term Care with her family by her side on Monday, January 29, 2018. 

Jean is survived by her children, Gloria (Alex) Martsynkevych of Edmonton, Wesley (Paulette) of Kenora, Tom (Renee) of Ear Falls, and Billy of Dryden, by 5 grandchildren Jessica, Jacob, Brody, Bradden, and Keira, by her great grand-child, Jack, and her sisters Bernice Kaltwasser of Prince George, BC and Marlene King of Sault St. Marie. 

Jean was a giving person who was loved for her ability to bring out the best in others. In addition to exceptional cooking and baking, Jean’s Ukrainian heritage shone through her love of crafts, such as Easter egg painting, crocheting and needlepoint. She will be greatly missed. 

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jean’s life will be held at a later date.
