Chattanooga Tennessee musicians Tim Cofield (left) and Lon Eldridge (seated) brainstorm some fast lyrics to a song they were constructing with the help of Dryden High School Music students, offering them a crash course in the digital recording process with software and techniques that are readily available.

The travelling minstrels distributed 10 Fender acoustic guitars, courtesy of the Tennessee Centre for Civic Learning and Engagement, to students at Pelican Falls High School in Sioux Lookout as well as flew to Muskrat Dam to host beginner guitar seminars for students who received instruments through The Guitar Project during the summer. The project distributed a total of 40 guitars to people in remote communities.   Photo by Chris Marchand
