All of the snow this year has gotten some people down, but not the Dryden Ski Club. The extra snow combined with their new machinery allowed the club to create their first annual big air competition held at the hill March 29.

With categories for both snowboarding and skiing for 13 and under and 14 and over, the day was filled with excitement and camaraderie.

Local boys Nick Ford, Jarad Moore, Jordan Chesky and Owen Ford all helped to organize the event and lead organizer Stephen Ford says the event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the Ski Patrol and all of the volunteers and sponsors and looks forward to going bigger next year.
