Henry (Hank) Leander Larson passed away peacefully on September 27, 2012 at the age of 84.
Henry was born to Ole and Ida Larson on August 9, 1928.
He is survived by his children Clarence Larson (Karen) of Kenora, Leonard Larson of Thunder Bay, Glen Larson (Susan) of Kenora, and Brenda Berrey (Paul) of Dryden. He will also be greatly missed and remembered by his eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Hank drove truck his whole life, and proud of it. He worked for Emo Lumber, then Jack H. Edwards in Kenora, and finally Great Lakes Forest Products in Dryden for 20 years and retired in 1993.
He will be remembered for many things: his strength and quiet ways and his great love and pride for his grandchildren.
Hank enjoyed fishing, camping and travelling, but most of all the time he spent with his family.
There will be no service at this time as cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, and if friends so desire, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Children’s Wish Foundation through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Avenue, Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
