Dryden High School Eagles girls and boys soccer teams hosted Kenora’s Beaver Brae Broncos and Fort Frances Muskies at North Dryden’s Rotary Park soccer pitches in NorWOSSA ‘AA’ soccer action, May 16. The DHS boys beat their Kenora rivals 3-1 on a trio goals from Richie Callawaert. Callawaert was also the lone Dryden scorer in a 1-1 tie with Fort Frances.

On the girls’ side, the Eagles blanked Fort Frances 3-0, though lost in their second game 2-1 to Beaver Brae. With identical records of one win, one loss, and two draws, both Eagles teams sit in second place heading into the May 23 playoffs in Kenora.  Photos by Chris Marchand
