Last weekend people of all ages headed to the Dryden Agricultural Building to take in some handmade creations. The two-day event presented by the Dryden’s Sunset Country Quilters’ Guild featured a wide range of vendors and workshops. Pictured above is Hazel Mills, owner of Serenity Quilts in Sioux Lookout teaching a full room of eager ladies a thing or two about cutting.
Pictured left, Karen Greaves, poses proudly in front of her handmade quilt that was raffled off on Sunday.
Below, Jodi and Connor Doherty posed in front of a wedding gift from Connor’s mother, Kathy Doherty, a quilt made especially of pictures from their wedding day and messages from guests. Saturday afternoon was their first time seeing it.
