Preston Delorme was the fighter of the day for the Oxdrift Judo Club in their recent competitive outing to the Eastern Manitoba Open.
Featuring 91 fighters from Manitoba and Ontario, the event was hosted by the community of Saint-Joachim La Broquerie, Manitoba.
Delorme fought in the Seniors yellow to green belt division -73. In a class of five Preston had no trouble throwing his opponents, winning every match.
Delorme’s performance qualifies him to be tested for his blue belt, which would place him in the blue to black belt division for next season.
