Obituaries — 21 February 2012
In loving memory of Mark John Coagie, age 35, who passed away Friday, February 3, 2012.Mark was born in Shelburne, ON on March 24, 1976 and later moved with his family to Dryden in 1980 when his father was offered employment at Great Lakes Forest Products Ltd.
Mark graduated from Dryden High School and later attended the University of Manitoba and went on to graduate from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Social Sciences.
After graduation Mark relocated to Crested Butte, Colorado, where he could pursue his passion in life, skiing. Mark enjoyed being outdoors and could often be seen riding his bike around town.
Mark is survived by his mother Kathy Coagie, his sister Julie (Kevin) Caldwell, nephew Tanner and niece Kira, his uncle John (Mary) Blixen, aunt Roseanne (Dave) Lyons, cousins Chris and Karen Lyons, and other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark was predeceased by his father John Coagie.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
God gave us the strength to bear it
and courage to fight the blow
what it has meant to lose you
God alone will ever know
