DHS at NorWOSSA

The Dryden Eagles’ junior boys basketball team put up a good fight, and played a strong game, but were only able to capture the silver medal during the Feb. 15 NorWOSSA finals. The top ranked Fort France Muskies defeated the junior boys team, with a final score of 44-25.

The DHS?junior girls volleyball team dropped a four-set decision to the Fort Frances Muskies in the NorWOSSA championship. The Eagles won the first set 29-27, but lost the remaining 25-20, 27-25 and 25-15. The girls took home a silver medal. The senior girls were a little luckier, capturing the gold NorWOSSA title against the Muskies, with wins of 25-17, 25-6 and 25-14. The girls will move on to NWOSSA in Thunder Bay.

The DHS?Eagles’ senior boys basketball team just missed the gold medal on Feb. 15 against the Fort Frances Muskies, during the NorWOSSA finals. An action-packed game right to the end, the DHS?Eagles lost to the Muskies in the final seconds, with a 43-37 final score.
