Brenna Stratford’s wrist shot emerges as an indistinct dark blur behind Beaver Brae Broncos goaltender Aryn Puls during a shoot-out finish to Nov. 22’s match-up at Dryden Memorial Arena.Stratford’s goal was the overtime game winner for the team’s second win in as many games.
The same night over in Arena One, the DHS Boys Eagles notched a 7-1 win over the Red Lake Rams. Goals in the first and second period were notched by Sawyer Kluke, Kale Kuzemchuk, Joel Allen, Richie Callewaert, and Josh Brunton. Kyson Jensson and Tyler Kirouac rounded out the third with a goal each.
Adam Notte stopped 18 shots in net for the victory.
