Fort Frances takes gold at Dryden tournament
The Dryden Eagles hockey team didn’t have the best of luck with a 1-2 record at the 26th annual Dryden High School Hockey Tournament the last weekend of October.
The Fort Frances Muskies took the AAA/AAAA final with a 7-1 defeat of Transcona.  The Muskies finished the tournament with a 2-1 record, losing to Kenora.
The Broncos finished with a 1-2 record, and St. Thomas Aquinas saw the win over the Sioux Lookout Warriors with a score of 4-3 in the A/AA final.
Red Lake was successful in both of their round-robin games, but lost out to Sioux Lookout in the semi-final with a score of 6-3.                          Photo by Chris Marchand
