Tennis summit draws attention to the sport

By Ally Dunham
Dryden Team Tennis held their annual meeting Oct. 26 at New Prospect School, hosting a summit with entertainment and tennis lessons.
Chair of the organization, Brian Eschbach, organized the summit to encourage people to come out and learn about the sport, as well as get an update on what the group has been doing for the past year.
Included in the summit was a presentation outlining all the accomplishments that Dryden TEAM?Tennis has achieved in the last year, and the support they have gained within the community.
Working toward their goal of multiple new tennis courts in Dryden, TEAM?Tennis, along with their Rotary partners offered tennis lessons, door prizes, and automated skill development equipment.
Entertainment was by way of the “Dirty Blondes” and was free to all who participated, as well as food, refreshments and tons of fun.
To donate or to find out more information about Dryden TEAM?Tennis, you can contact Eschbach or any of the board on their Facebook page, at Dryden TEAM?Tennis.
