The Dryden Ice Dogs and the OPP partnered to play for the Vermilion Bay Minor Hockey Association fundraiser.
With OPP officers on hand from Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake and Kenora as well as Weagamow, New Saugeen and Dryden Police Services, the game raised over $2,000 for the youth hockey teams.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford played as an honourary Ice Dog, which landed him the first spot in the penalty box.
The game started with two regular periods and ended in a shootout with a handcuffed goalie and plenty of laughter.
