Alternate Transportation Week, hosted by the City of Dryden Recreation Department, saw a total of 206 entries and 5,906 minutes (98.5) hours logged for the week.
One hundred and forty- seven adult entries were received, along with 59 youth entries.  This included 20 workplaces and three schools.
Open Roads School saw a total of seven participants, the Dryden High School saw 24 participants and the Full Gospel Christian Academy saw 28 participants.

Random draws will be held for bamboo bikes, being awarded to workplaces.
A Subway lunch party will be awarded to the classroom with the highest participation and nine Canadian Tire gift cards will be awarded to lucky students.
Organizer Andi Kidd of the Dryden Recreation Department says, “It was a great turnout again this year, and we are so thankful that the community jumps on board the way they have.  Anything we can do to help the environment is one step closer to ensuring a better world for generations to come.”
