The newly formed Dryden Ice Dogs Junior A team will hit the ice in their first game on September 1.

Starting the season off with two exhibition games, the Ice Dogs will see their first matchup against the Sioux Lookout Flyers starting at 6:30 in the Dryden Memorial Arena. The Ice Dogs will follow up with a second exhibition game in Sioux Lookout on Fri., Sept. 2 starting at 7:30 at the Sioux Lookout Memorial Arena.

The Ice Dogs will see their first game in regular season played on Sat., Sept. 17 against the 2010/11 champions, the Wisconsin Wilderness.

Game time will be 7:30 p.m at the Dryden Memorial Arena.

The Ice Dogs will have a four game home opener this year, and won’t hit the road until Sept. 27.

The Dryden Ice Dogs have been a busy group lately with a new coach, and hosting a night golf tournament in September.

The Ice Dogs are also seeking billet homes for the players on an ongoing basis.
