On a sweltering summer Saturday, Aug. 6. Remote control aviation enthusiasts from across the region gathered at Bonny Bay Camp to ‘strut’ their stuff over Wabigoon Lake at the annual Bonny Bay Float Fly. The atmosphere was somewhat akin to the Vermilion Bay Antique Tractor Show, attracting tinkerers and hobbyists of all sorts.The two day social event featured 26 pilots and over two dozen remote control aircraft.
