Sixty-two golfers came out to attend the annual Martin Anderson Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by the Dryden Ice Dogs.

With Bill and Josh Brunton, Keith and Cameron Zappitelli taking first place with a score of 60, and Ally Dunham taking closest to the pin, the entire team had a blast on the course.

Although the heat was scorching, Anderson’s Homestead Golf Course was packed with current and former Ice Dogs, executive, volunteers, and golf enthusiasts out to support a good cause.

The tournament was 18 holes, and had some good, old-fashioned competition amongst the teams.

Anderson’s had a special bench made up with the unveiling at the 2011 tournament, in honour of Martin Anderson and is located on the first hole of the course.

The hole-in-one skunked all the players, with no payout for this year.Followed up by a steak barbeque, prizes were awarded for places of finish and laughter could be heard across the course.
