Audrey Olive Tew (nee Hilts) age 88 of Dryden, ON passed away peacefully on June 1, 2011 at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, NS.
Audrey was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. After graduating from university with a nursing degree she moved to Dryden and worked at the hospital as a registered nurse in the maternity ward until retirement.
Audrey was a longtime member of the Rebekahs. She also was a member of the United Church women’s association, unit 5. She enjoyed curling- winning the Northern Ont. Curling Title in 1968, fishing, skidooing, x-country skiing, cards and gardening.
Audrey moved to Lower Sackville, NS in 2007 to live with her daughter Erin.
Audrey is survived by her daughters, Erin Lynn Mihaichuk (Ronnie) and Donna Lee Salekin (Peter-Michael) of Calgary, AB and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Audrey was predeceased by husband, William James Tew; son, David William Tew and daughter, Carol-Susan Tew all from Dryden, ON.

Interment at the Dryden Cemetery in September.
