PETERS – Shaun Edwin – February 4, 1974-May 15, 2009.

No words I can write can ever say

How much I miss you every day.

As time goes by the loneliness grows,

How I miss you nobody knows

I think of you in silence, and often speak your name

But all I have are memories and your picture in a frame

No one knows my sorrow,

No one sees me weep

But the love I have for you

Is in my heart to keep.

I haven’t stopped loving you,

I’m sure I never will

Deep inside my heart,

You are with me still.

Heartaches in this world are many

But mine is worse than any

My heart still aches as I whisper

“I need you and miss you so”

And if tears could build a stairway and memories a lane

I would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again.

The things we feel so deeply

are often the hardest to say

but I just can’t keep quiet any more

So I will tell you anyway.

There is a place in my heart that

No one else can fill,

I love you Shaun,

And always will!

Until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

If there are teddy bears in heaven Daddy

Will you send one just for me,

So I can hold it close to my heart Daddy

Where you will always be.

I will take it to bed each night as the angels tuck me in

I will feel your love surround me

And know that you are holding me in your arms once again.

You always said “I was the best thing that ever happened to you”

That thought will keep me through.

I will always remember,

and Mommy won’t ever let me

forget my precious Daddy

Whose love for us and Mommy

was so Honest and so True! xo
