Middle Eastern culture, combined with professional dance equals a night of music, beauty and art inspired by the culture of the Arabic and Persian worlds.
Coming to the Centre on May 28 is Oriental Night, bellydance by local Jessica D, and professional dancer from Las Vegas, Dahab.
Native of Columbia, Dahab brings with her world-class experience, including the creator and main teacher and performer at the World Dance Centre.  Dahab has been dancing since a young age, moving on to complete her degree in Mathematics from the Los Andes University in Columbia.
She has expanded her repetoire to include many folkloric dances from the Middle East and the Romani culture, as well as Bhangra and Bollywood.  She is also a choreographer and workshop teacher.
Jessica D, former resident of Dryden, has been studying dance and acting since she was a child, and discovered the art of bellydance in 2004.
She has performed at many local venues as well as private events in Dryden and Thunder Bay, including Canada Day festivals and MooseFest.
Jessica believes that creativity in the art of bellydance has no boundaries.
The ladies bring with them an all-star cast, and will be entertaining with various styles of dance, music and culture beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at Lotto One or Masala Restaurant.  The show was sold out in Thunder Bay, and guarantees to be an evening of magic.
