VALLEY – Dean – March 16, 1948-May 15, 2001.
Our Dad was our Hero
For our very youngest years;
Dad kept us safe and happy
And he chased away our fears.
We watched in awe and wonder
At each manly thing he did;
Oh how we looked up to him
When we were little kids.
Our Dad is still our Hero
As the years pass one by one.
He taught important lessons
And he took some time for fun.
He was our firm foundation;
On our Dad we did depend
He was always there for us;
Our dad, our guide, our friend.
Our father is our hero
Now that we are fully grown.
We love him & respect him,
The best man we’ve ever known.
We knew when we would marry
That our husbands had to be
A great man, just like our father
Dad, our hero you’ll always be.
