Obituaries — 15 February 2011
I’m following the path God has laid, you see
I took His hand when I heard His call
I turned around and left it all.”
It is with profound sadness that the family of Peter Baumuller announces his passing at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rosemary and son Bob (Tamara), grandchildren Joby and Jenna as well as numerous family members in Canada and Europe.
Peter was born in Innsbruck, Austria. There he completed his Master Baker and Pastry Chef training. He immigrated to Canada in 1969 and together with his wife Rosemary operated Kupper’s Bakery and Restaurant for many years in Dryden, Ontario. Peter and Rosemary moved to Regina in 2004, where he worked at Northgate Bakery and Sobeys on Albert St.
Peter was a member of the Royal Regina Golf and Country Club and spent many hours improving his golf game. He was a staunch supporter of Notre Dame College in Wilcox, SK and spent many happy hours cheering the Hounds Teams on. Peter and Rosemary moved to Kelowna in 2009 for their retirement.
A memorial service for Peter will be held at a later date in Wilcox, SK.
