Eagles court sport teams fared well against NorWOSSA rivals the Fort Frances Muskies in the last interschool matchup of the season.

Boys junior and senior basketball and girls junior and senior volleyball team travel to Kenora, Feb. 18 for NorWOSSA championships.
The short-benched senior boys basketball team continued to struggle in league play last week with a 53-28 loss to the strong ‘AA’ Muskies squad.
As per usual this season, the senior’s efforts have been overshadowed by a dominant junior boys team. The juniors finished league play undefeated and somewhat unchallenged last week, marking a 53-30 win over their Fort Frances counterparts.
On the volleyball court, the Eagles senior girls head into NorWOSSA championships poised to win, downing the Muskies in straight sets 25-9,25-11 and 25-16. The week prior the senior team achieved similar results versus Kenora.
The junior girls squad dropped an opening set to the Muskies 22-25, before finding their rhythm and three more winning sets 25-13, 25-23,25-16.
