The Dryden Ski Patrol will be hosting a fundraiser consisting of a dance and silent auction at the Dryden Legion on February 19, 2011.  Cost of admission is only $5 and will include live music by a group of local artists.
The funds raised will be used for a new toboggan, better radios for communications on the hill and basic first aid supplies such as splints and bandages.
The Dryden Ski Patrol is an all-volunteer group trained in First Aid.  The patrol are all members of the Canadian Ski Patrol System and the fifteen volunteers promote safe skiing/snowboarding while on patrol at the hill.
The Dryden Ski Club will be hosting a series of cross-country skiing clinics will be coached by Kurt Schmidt.
Including classic and skate techniques, the classes will be offered throughout February and March.
Other courses being offered are classic and skate technique biathlon shooting techniques, skate and biathlon shooting sessions, and technique II sessions in skate and biathlon.
