Nordic skiing took the local spotlight, Jan. 12 as a squad of impressive Dryden high school athletes posted top finishes at a NorWOSSA event hosted by the Dryden Ski Club.
Dryden skiers Kjell Schmidt, Nathan Mallyon and Garrett Lindquist placed first, second and third respectively in the senior boys 7.5 kilometre race.
