Local personal trainer develops nutrition program

There is soon to be a new face coming to the health world in Dryden, by the name of Mike Tongi.
A certified personal trainer, Tongi is developing a program at no cost to the community, called Healthy Breakfast Program.  The idea of this program is to educate the public on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
As a Herbalife consultant, Tongi offers nutritional substitutes, and herbal benefits available with the program.  Also included in this free program is Tongi’s expertise of a personal wellness coach, assisting with your weight loss challenge, focussing on where you are, where you need to be and designing a fast and safe plan to achieve your wellness goals.
A free wellness evaluation will be offered to each person taking part in the program, assessing your current state of wellness, eating habits, lifestyle, body mass index and body fat.
Tongi will assist with a personalized nutrition plan and offer online nutritional training.  Once the assessments are all done, Tongi can offer his personal trainer services to the public, to assist with the long-term goal of a healthier life.
As a former hockey player and goalie coach, Tongi originated from Switzerland, moving to Canada at the age of 19.  Coming north from Toronto, Tongi has made Dryden his home, and hopes to assist the community with its lifestyle goals.
Coming later to the community will be a Weight Loss Challenge, similar to “The Biggest Loser.”  This will be a 12-week program, at minimal cost, with a cash prize as well as personal achievement.
To book your spot with the Healthy Breakfast Program, or to get more information, you can reach Tongi at 1-866-534-9098 or email mtoengi@hotmail.com.
