Gordon spent most of his working career at the Kenora paper mill, where he retired. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting up north at Seperation Lake Camp Ground with all his hunting buddies.
There are not enough words to show the gratitude and the heartfelt thanks that the family wishes to convey to the staff and volunteers of Pinecrest for all of the care, concern and love given to Gordon. Special thanks go to Dr. Sawatzky and Dr. Beverage for their care.
In keeping with Gordon’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at St. Andrews United Church in Keewatin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ren Amell officiating. Interment will follow at the Dryden Cemetery at a later date.
