Grace Haven is gearing up for another year of lights, entertainment, fashion and fun.
The annual Festival of Trees will run from November 24 to 27 with events taking place at The Centre and Our Saviour Lutheran Church.
Opening the festival will be local talent performing at Band Night on Nov. 24 at The Centre. Included in the entertainment will be the Pinewood School Fine Arts and Dryden High School bands, along with the guest choir from “The Living Christmas Tree”.
Thursday will be inclusive of some very exciting events, starting off with a Free Seniors Afternoon at The Centre, and followed up by the astounding Air Command Band playing Thursday evening at The Centre. This is a performance like no other, and should not be missed.
Friday will see the return of an evening of wine tasting, while sampling select foods and wines from different regions while learning as you go.
Saturday, November 27 is all about kids and class, including a morning with Santa taking place at Our Saviour Lutheran Church and the Winter Wonderland Showcase for the grown-ups. The showcase is a buffet lunch, with beautifully decorated tables, Christmas music by local musicians and a fashion show put on by Ella Lynn’s.
Saturday will continue with the Dryden Kids Have Talent Show beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Centre. Local kids will perform their best talents for all to see!
As per normal, the custom decorated trees will be on display for visitors to bid on, as well as a silent auction and penny auction. Purchase gifts from the market, walk through a fairyland of trees and wreaths, and while enjoying the gala, help support the local seniors community.
