It was a close race to the finish, but unfortunately Second Chance Pet Network didn’t quite make it in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge to win $100,000.  With people voting for the cause all over the country, Second Chance sadly came in second place when voting ended on October 31, putting the group no closer to building the new shelter they so desperately need.
As the second place contender, Pepsi automatically put the shelter back into the running for the next round of votes.  Second Chance will in fact have a second chance, and this time hopefully can collect first place, and $100,000.
Voting has officially started again on November 1, and will run until December 31.  Your existing Pepsi account will still be valid, and the rules are the same, with once per day voting.
Ann Owen, of Triple F Pet Supply says she is astounded and so very grateful to the support that came out of this challenge, and showed amazing community spirit from the entire area.
If you do not already have an account for the Pepsi Refresh challenge, all you need is an email address and a password.  There have been no reports of spam being sent due to using your email address, and most people have been voting for the entire two months on the last round.
