Eagles senior boys’ volleyball defeated the Beaver Brae Broncos in four sets (28–26, 25-12, 16-25 and 25-21), Oct. 21.
“I think the team came together and played very well,” said #8 Jeff Kropelin.  “We played a very good passing game, we played very good defensively and our hitting was phenomenal.”
Kropelin says the team has really come together as a family, but needs to increase their skill with blocking and serving.
The Junior Boys’ Volleyball team had just as much luck, with a straight three-set win and final scores of 25-20, 25-14 and 25-9.
In basketball, the senior girls’ smote the Broncos with a score of 39-13.  Halle Lobreau led the scoring with nine points, followed by Morgan Church with eight and Carly Kaus with six.
The junior girls were just as enthusiastic, with a final score beating the Broncos 37-23.  Ashley Kropelin was the high scorer with 10 points and Alana Benson followed with six.
The Eagles will play their final games of the year at Beaver Brae on October 28, and then finish off with NorWOSSA finals in Fort Frances on Nov. 10.
