Obituaries — 22 September 2010
Marie passed away on September 12, 2010 at Extendicare in Moose Jaw.  She was predeceased  by her beloved husband George, her daughter Rita Huckle-Barrett, her son Frank Green III, and by an unborn child.
She was born to Geremie and Angelina Bruneau on the family farm near Selkirk, Manitoba on November 29, 1916.  She lived in many places over her 93 years, but spent most of her life in Northern Ontario and Saskatchewan.
Marie loved to socialize with her family and friends, but particularly loved her church family.  She loved gospel music and John Wayne westerns. She was very fond of gardening and keeping her yard groomed, and was known for her roses which she planted and cherished wherever she found herself.  Gramma was known for her love of the nicer things in life and because of that a box of chocolates or a blueberry milkshake was never out of reach.   She was a fighter and cherished the life God gave her.  She was diligent at getting things done. She will be dearly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial celebration was held on Saturday, September 18th at Victory Church, 637 Main St. North in Moose Jaw at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will take place in Dryden, Ontario at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and caregivers at Extendicare in Moose Jaw for their excellent care and compassion.  Arrangements entrusted to Parkview Funeral Chapel.
