It’s with both pleasure and disappointment I see we are fighting with Windsor/Essex for $100,000 from Pepsi.  Pleasure that we are in the same ‘league’ as them and disappointment that sometimes I see we are in 2nd place. We are trying to build a building for the animals, and organizations like this are trying to add on. I guess I am both jealous and envious others have so much and we don’t. Don’t get me wrong, I love what others are doing for the animals.

In 2008, according to their website, they received $230,000 for their building fund. Last year we received about $6,000. Their goal is 1.85 million and we’d be happy if we made $100,000!!!!

It would be nice if we could get the town, not just the local citizens like we have, but the town itself to help us in some way but I guess they are just too busy to try and get elected or re-elected.
