The DHS golf team continued its winning ways in Dryden on Friday, September 17, with the boy’s team finishing first with a 4 man team total of 329.Wade Wetelainen of Dryden once again placed first overall shooting a 78 in cold and windy conditions, Brett Getson and Josh Kitt finished tied for 5th carding an 83 and Adam Getson placed 7th shooting an 85.
Tyson Priebe (93) Dante Zerbinati (95) Josh Brunton (102) and Skylar Blanchard (103) rounded out the scoring for Dryden.
In the girl’s division Christina Romyn from Queen Elizabeth placed first followed by Danielle Toth (TA), Jenna Poirier (QE) and Melanie Wheatley (DRY).
Following the first place Dryden boys is Beaver Brae with 339, in third is Fort Frances with 357, in fourth is Thomas Aquinas with 379 and in fifth is Queen Elizabeth with 399 total.
The final Norwossa golf competition is Thursday September 23 at Kitchen Creek in Fort Frances.
