Obituaries — 29 July 2010

Peter J. Czajkowski, 57, of Dryden, Ontario, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010.

Peter was born to Jan (deceased) and Agnes Czajkowski, February 25, 1953, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Peter finished high school in Winnipeg. He then decided to relocate to Dryden, Ontario in 1970.

During Peter’s residency in Dryden he worked for a surveying company; Dryden Paper Mill; Trans Canada Pipeline and then worked in carpentry/construction building and renovating houses. Peter was very passionate about his vegetable gardens, fishing and hunting. He loved to spend evenings sitting around a fire with his family and close friends.

Peter is survived by his mother Agnes Czajkowski, his sons Jhan and Jhustin Ancheta-Czajkowski, his wife Maria Schmidt and her children Aron and Angelee Schmidt and ex-wife Myrna Ancheta, mother of Jhan and Jhustin, who all reside in Dryden, Ontario. He also is survived by his sister Christa Sharpe and husband Gordon, their children Debbie Cooper and Dylan Boon, and grand nieces and nephew Haydin and Dalton Boon and Tiesha Cooper who all reside in Surrey, British Columbia. Also, his numerous friends he considered as family.

A Memorial Funeral Service was held Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 2pm at the Royal Canadian Legion. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
