Seven members of the SIJHL have made the move up to the NCAA in the U.S.A. for the 2010/2011.
Former Ice Dogs Mike Lennon, Chad Liley and Josh Baker are moving up to the big leagues.
Lennon and Liley will be playing for the Northland College Lumber Jacks in the Division Three hockey ranks while Baker will join the Marian University Sabres in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Sioux Lookout Flyers’ Nathan Brown and Darren Turner will join Lennon and Liley while Clayton Lewis will suit up for the Buffalo State Bengals.
Drew Strandberg, who suited up for the Thunder Bay Bearcats, is headed to the University of Wisconsin Superior Yellowjackets and former Fort Frances Jr. Sabres star goalie Ryan Faragher will suit up for the Dartmouth College Big Green, a Division One team, in Hanover, New Hampshire.
