Evangeline Pearl Wall

It is with great sadness that the family of Evangeline Pearl Wall (formerly Gour) announces her passing after a short illness on December 19, 2009 at Slave Lake Hospital, Slave Lake, Alberta.
Eva is survived by her daughter Shirley Forrest (former son-in-law Keith) of Prince George, BC; daughter Julie Gour (Jason) of Slave Lake and son Tim Gour (Janet) also of Slave Lake.   Also surviving are stepsons, Tom Wall, Randy Wall (Maureen) and Lawrence Wall (Sherry), all of Dryden; her two grandsons, Chris Forrest (Robyn) and Shawn Forrest (Elizabeth); her great-grandson Cade and great-granddaughter Harmony.  Eva is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Dryden.
Eva was predeceased by her son Rodney in 1975, by her first husband Edgar (Ted) Gour in 1992 and her second husband Fred Wall in 2002.
Born in Eagle River in February 1929 to John and Jean Davie, Eva spent most of her life in the Dryden area and after her marriage to Ted Gour in 1952, raising her family.
Eva enjoyed curling in her younger years and bowling later on in life but always her passion was playing cribbage with anyone who would submit to a game.
After the passing of Eva’s second husband Fred Wall in 2002, she moved to Slave Lake, Alberta to be near her daughter Julie and son Tim.
A service for the late Evangeline Wall was held December 30, 2009 at Chapel of Memories in Slave Lake with a service to follow in Dryden at a later date.
If anyone so desires, donations may be made in Eva’s name to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
