It is with sadness the family of Pat Yaroshuk announces her passing at the Dryden Hospital on September 10, 2009.
Pat is survived by her husband of 59 years, Cob Yaroshuk; her son Brian and daughter-in-law Michele and several nieces and nephews.
Pat was born in Buffalo, New York on March 27, 1926. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She arrived in Dryden in 1948 to work as a nurse at the Red Cross Hospital.
She then moved from the Red Cross Hospital on St. Charles Street to the new hospital (where the Dryden Hospital is today) and became an OR nurse. Later became the Director of Nursing until she retired in 1960. That is when she was able to enjoy her time spent with her family at their cabin on Route Lake.
Funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Father Denni Becker officiating.
